Senior Associate Director of Development
Kristin Milne joined the Office of Gift Development in 2017 as a Senior Associate Director of Major Gifts working with alumni, friends, and emeriti interested in supporting the School of Medicine’s mission and work. Her focus is on endowed scholarships to ensure that IU students are able to realize the dream of medical education and transform healthcare here in Indiana and around the world.
She graduated from Loyola University of Chicago and Cottey College. Her fundraising career began at Loyola where she started in Donor Relations and then fundraised for the Quinlan School of Business. Most recently, she worked for Northwestern University, initially as a member of the Reunions Team and then as a major gifts officer for the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.
After losing a brother to colorectal cancer and a grandfather to Alzheimer’s disease within a four month period, she developed a strong passion for supporting resources to further research and treatments that save and extend lives, just like the work taking place here at IU’s School of Medicine.
Kristin and her husband, Patrick, live in Indianapolis with their daughter and a beagle, and they are enjoying exploring the city, museums, and parks.
