Meghan McFadden supports the IU Simon Cancer Center gift development officers with raising philanthropic funds for the advancement of cancer research and treatment. In doing so, she facilitates communication between the development office and an intricate network of faculty, staff, major gift donors and development board members. Her responsibilities also include coordinating the production of print publications, photography and website materials. In addition, she manages the memorial gift campaign serving as liaison to families wishing to memorialize loved ones with contributions to the cancer center.
Meghan first joined the Office of Gift Development in 2008 providing support to development services, the director of communications, and the major gift officer for the Department of Ophthalmology. Prior to coming to IU, she was the Communications Assistant in the Office of Mayor Bart Peterson and the Program Coordinator for the Catholic Youth Organization. Meghan earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton.
